With the support of the City of Terrace, and in partnership with Home Support Services, Local 2685 members install and maintain wireless panic systems for clients who need a means of summoning help in an emergency.

Every year with the donations of local businesses  firefighters deliver treats to staff and residents of local care facilities.  Thank you to the local businesses who make this annual event possible.

$500.00 SCHOLARSHIP

Annually in May/June @ R.E.M. Lee Theatre

Each year Terrace Local 2685 awards a $500.00 scholarship to a student who pursues a career in public service:

• Municipal Fire Fighting
• Police Officer
• Paramedic
• Nursing

PANCAKE BREAKFAST, B.C. PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS' BURN FUND                  

July 1st @ Terrace Fire Hall     

The Terrace Firefighters Pancake Breakfast has become the largest Canada Day event in the City.  Without the support of local business and the commitment of the entire department this event would not be possible. 

Each year Fire Fighters across Canada raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  During the 2nd and 3rd weeks of November you will see Terrace Fire Fighters with their fire boots collecting donations.
